Lucky Woman

I am a lucky woman

with rays of Sun on face

the benevolent Earth beneath

drenched in occasional down-pour

few bruises on my heart washed

away by the giggles of a kid

playing hide and seek.

I am a lucky woman.

    1. True Sakshi, my daughter always lights up my mood all the its very exhausting to be running behind her all day!

      1. I know every age brings it challenge, mind is 19 months and gosh I miss my sleep!

      2. 😄👌 motherhood is doing you good then … creativity is flowing …..if this brilliance is a result of sleepless nights what are you going to weave with a fresh mind🤔

      3. Brilliance not sure but I prefer writing when disturbed again and again. Thanks sakshi, have a great weekend.

  1. A blessed woman you are, the rays of Sun; shining upon your heart. Drenched with a down-pour, seen with the love of a child. A love that washes your soul. The giggles within your heart, the love for your child; playing hide and seek with your soul. Lovely! #A Mother’s Love!

    1. Thanks for your kind words, I am indeed blessed. Although we poets bring out the pain and suffering through our words but I also feel there is so much in our lives to be thankful about. We all are indeed lucky if we value the bounties in our lives! Have a great weekend and thanks for reading.
