Crystallization

Your ruby blood in mine,

a pure ecstasy,

melting of skins.

As I sighed, the breath took a curve

and emerged in two,

leaving behind zillion dew drops;

settling at the corners

of my parched mouth.

Crystalizing the moment in time.

  1. “Ruby blood” captured beautifully. Ending leaves you asking for more.
    Just curiosity. Hindi ya urdu u don’t write? Would be nice to see your work in those languages

    1. Thanks I’m glad you liked it, well unfortunately I don’t write in both the languages. I don’t have the ryt kind of words to compose a poetry in both these languages!

  2. beautiful and ecstatic, reminding me of that haunting song from ‘Sandinista’, the 1980’s album by the Clash: ‘Lose That skin’ : “you’ve got to lose that skin your imprisoned in’ —

      1. Thanks Drac, although romance and erotica not my forte just experimented!

    1. Thanks John, I am gonna listen to the song that your referring too. I was listening “ Nothing’s gonna hurt you” by cigarettes after sex , hence the poem!

      1. ahhh; you’ll enjoy it; the lyrics are great and so is the fiddle playing and Tymon Dogg’s voice, an old mate of Joe Strummer who was brought on board for that one song; play it LOUD 🙂

      2. Would do John, now I’m all the more tempted now 🙂 a glass of wine may be with it to set the atmosphere!
