Love Bird

Love whispered silently
Of tragic years apart
Two drops of icy tears,
Enough to drown good,
Luck Of multitude
Golden musked bird
Sat 5 minutes on fragile
Branches of heart
To flew away in exotic
Distant lands of ancient past
Draped in a crimson hue
Opened the floodgates of heart
Devouring every emotion
To the last, Intoxicated
Gods poured wine
Comforting the bleeding soul
Heaven’s wailing descended upon
Transforming a little naive girl,
Into a woman of the world overnight.
